Who Would make a good President (and why?)

Tell us who you think should run for--and win the presidency.  It can be anyone, but give us your reasons.  Remember, this is a debate.

I don't have a specific person in mind but I definitely would want my president to be a good speaker. I can't watch Bush on TV cause hes so embarrassing. I would want a president that rarely uses military enforcement and looks at pros and cons before making any decisons.

i would vote for pretty much anyone who had sincerely good ideas, and was willing to be hooked to a polygraph machine every time he spoke in public.

I still wish that Al Gore could have taken the win. He'd make a fine pres.

Out of the candidates for 08, I'm rooting for Hillary. She stands for the things that are important to me; she's strong, tough, smart, compassionate. I truly believe she could get America out of this difficult rut.

Of course, I'd be happy with Obama as well.

McCain scares the sh!t out of me. I don't see why with Bush at a 28% approval rating ANYONE would vote in a guy just like him, AGAIN. McCain would keep us at war for goodness knows how long, which, as stated, scares me. I don't want to live in a warring country anymore, I'm so terribly sick of it.

um....polygraphs can be fooled. there are people who don't set them off ever. there are also people who always set them off. so either way, you could have one president whos always lieing and never setting it off and one whos never lieing but always setting it off
