he likes the food! we've been to europe before, just never without our parents, so it's much better this time. since we're taking busses, taxis, and hitchhiking, we are seeing much more than we ever could on a stupid tour. and it's fun staying at youth hostels.

ya. it's on havsteensvej just off of the sondre ringuej. it goes on till the 6th, we'll be going on the 4th and camping out there. it's supposed to be one of the best festivals ever! the days have been in the 70's and the nights in the 60's so it's perfect temperature.
Aww man, it's one of my dreams to go to Roskilde! What bands played?
i'm not into a lot of "new music". about the only bands i knew were radiohead and neil young. i'm in sweden now and it's true what they say about the nude beaches here: totally hot views! (and everyone is very friendly. i wouldn't mind living here...on a nude beach).
UPDATE: we're in abisko national park hiking right now and will be off to finland in a couple days. the mountains and river are beautiful! the weather was in the 50's today and now it's getting cooler. but the coolest thing about this place is that sunset lasts about 2 minutes! seriously! the sun sets around midnight, then starts rising again about 12:02 a.m. (now i know what they mean when they refer to "Sweden... The land of the midnight sun!") it's like the arctic.
we're finally home! well, actually, we're in germany, but that's home to us. it's where most of our family is and i missed it so much. this is where i'll retire to and die. it's so beautiful here and it's like we never left. we just got here today and have gone from place to place visiting friends and relatives. i'm not sure i want to go back to the states.
one thing for sure we have in this world, and sometimes take granted for is our friends. so here is a shout to all those i call friends. you know who you are and thanks for being a couple of the best.
hi everyone. just czeching in. sorry i haven't written much lately but we've been hiking the black forest for the past week and haven't had much frame of mind to think about what's going on in the states. it's like an enchanted forest, almost mythical in appearance and feeling. they say the forest in inhabited by werewolves, sorcerers, witches, dwarfs, and even the devil himself, disguised as other creatures. but i don't believe in all that: we haven't seen any dwarves (just some guy who was about 4 feet, 10 inches tall. the werewolves you can hear at night and, well, as for witches, we did see this really butt-ugly chick with a big nose. and there really are sorcerers who gather at night. you can hear them in the distance. but i think they're actually satan-worshippers practicing spells without a license. we're leaving germany in a few days but i swear to come back here to live some day. well it's about midnight so 'night, all.
Not exactly, heh. Wisconsin is more of a place where you could raise a family...while people scrounge for food in some places, here, you scrounge for entertainment. There are a lot of fests though...Life fest, Pride Fest, Ozz fest...and October fest to name a few, which the october one should coming up soon.
Other than that if you wanted to go to an amusment park, your best bet would be the next state South haha. It's quite boring and may be the reason there are a lot of stupid peoples around here..boredom.
If you are the camping type, WI is not a bad place for that.
