37% in the 1940s...That's a ****ing lot for back then. I wonder what that number would be today, seeing as homosexuality is MUCH more accepted. and "experimenting" isn't that bad of a thing.
"Love" is actually one of the most selfish acts a person can commit. In reality, most persons love--or fall in love with--persons who make them feel good about themselves. that's what love is and why most people can't honestly tell you why they don't know why they love someone. it's because it's not that person, themself. ask someone why they love the person they do and most likely the answer will be like: "i love the way they make me feel inside" "i love the way they make me laugh...or smile" "i love the way we have so much in common" "i love the way they always tell me the truth" "i love that they're always there for me" "i want to do so much for them because they do so much for me" see? every one of those things is about us, not the person we love.
