i played ice hockey for 3 years when I was younger, i really don't know why i stopped because that **** was ****ing FUN! i think my helmet gave me a really bad headache or something...idk.
but back then I was really into it and like, watched all the games on tv and what not. However, its been like...several years since i've played or really watched a game.
i think hockey is one of the ONLY sports. i love watching the game and the excitement (as they say, "hockey is actually just a fight waiting for a game to break out"). i actually hate baseball (reminds me of those little baseball games in the old arcades where the players zip around the track endlessly) and football (start, stop. start, stop. start, stop. two hours to gain 10 yards)! if football was non-stop, and the players took off all their protective gear, i'd love it. just too repititious for me. i like fast sports like hockey...and jai-ali (sp)
i was a roller-hockey player. i don't do well on ice, lack of friction i guess. i loved it, i too watched it all the time. i was going to take a one season break, but then i never went back. i wish i did though
