Recently got into Northern State as well. I generally can't stand rap, but I love them for some reason.
don't know them... nope... not them... uh-uh... no... huh-uh... nope... nope... not them... not them either... can't place them... nope... no... no way... nope... mmm...no... not them... or them... is that a them or he?... no! no! well, i guess i don't know who any of them are.
just to name a few, blue october metallica zeppelin stones (early) heart styx cranberries rod stewert clash kinks hollies jethro tull blue oyster cult simple minds black sabboth kansas alan parsons elton john zz top but that's just a few off the top of my head
K fine, I throw a few of the more popular ones in to give you a general idea lol
*the starting line *relient k *sum 41 *the click five *yellowcard *plain white ts *motion city soundtrack *hellogoodbye *goo goo dolls *boys like girls (*this band's name is a lie*) *armor for sleep *blink 182 *all-american rejects
yeah...i think those are the more popular of the bands i listen to.
They came around here (NE) a few years ago but I didn't see them. I really liked their first album, it was the most mainstream powerpop sounding lol. The 2nd and 3rd albums have been okay, but not enough to make me crazy about them anymore.
well, just to name a few, pat the bunny the vandals blood for blood coock sparrer(only one o) social distortion static x five iron frenzy and just to round off the list, alanis moriset(sp?)

Pretty sure I know none of those LOL! What "genre" of music is most of that rach?
I'm mostly into indie/pop/pop rock/folk rock/alternative. I really love the indie scene from Denmark as well. People from another forum are always recommending music, which is how I know 99% of these bands.
Kingsfoil is a local band, my family knows the lead singer's family through the theater. Just saw them open for a band a couple weeks ago, actually.
I've never really gotten into classic rock, although I did go through a short Clash/Pistols phase. I've never heard any of Matt's bands except for Alanis (I remember seeing her on tv when I was little and thinking she was f[]cking awesome!).
yeah, my set of bands is all underground minus alanis and static x. search them on youtube, they're pretty awesome...and basically all punk. I suggest pat the bunny the most. the guys my hero. hes homeless and does shows for the money to get there. also, if you haven't heard of static x, you may know the lead singer's project which is stone sour. they're a pretty good band as well. so now heres some more bands you may have never heard of that are pretty damn good *GBH *the germs *the anti-nowhere league speaking of these bands, punkrocks, you ever heard of any of them?
