aww. i enjoyed that movie. I didn't think it was that moving, but it was still really powerful. great message.
i usually don't cry when i watch movies. i want to at the really sad parts, but it just doesn't happen. however, if i watch one on jussssttttt the right evening, it'll knock me on my ass.
take bridge to terabithia for example. totally sobbed for like, the last 30 minutes of the movie or so. unbelievable. i couldn't believe how much it moved me. also, click with adam sandler. the scene where he keeps rewinding his dad's "i love you son" and the end of the movie hit me hard too.
If i watch movies like those and don't cry, I actually feel bad. So every now and then i'll deprive myself in some way so that I can have a good emotional session while watching something.
(Tonight is totally one of those nights...but damn family is down in the basement with me watching a movie! Maybe later...)
terabithia (sp) was a great movie. but then, i like all of josh's movies. which reminds me, i finally saw Firehouse Dog. it was a typical story that's been told a million times (eg: backdraft) but parts of it really got to me.
i kind of liked Martian Child, the kid was cute too, that's always a plus. i saw it after it got removed from the theaters at a cheap theater that still had movies from like, 3 months before.
